SJB is a group of family run wine growing and producing Houses and Estates located in the major terroirs in France, all sharing the same high quality standards, to produce these top of the range wines and spirits.

SJB fédère des Maisons et Domaines familiaux viti-vinicoles situés dans les grands terroirs français et partageant la même exigence de qualité, pour produire ces vins et spiritueux haut de gamme.

The history of SJB and of Champagne Bollinger were one and the same until 1986, when the Bollinger family created the holding ├ö├ç┬úSociété Jacques Bollinger├ö├ç├ÿ (SJB). The family’s plan was to create a group specialising in fine wines from all over the world yet still seeking to remain independent. Inspired by Lily Bollinger (affectionately known as "Tante Lily"), the heads of the family began diversifying the family group in 1973 with the acquisition of Langlois-Chateau in the Loire Valley. Later they incorporated the Burgundy House Chanson Père & Fils and Ayala Champagne. Wishing to further the development of Delamain Cognacs, SJB became a partner in the founding family of these fine Cognac brandies.

Finally, to continue the lasting development of its brands on the major markets, SJB took over its distributor in France and the UK and formed strategic partnerships, particularly with Taylor’s Port in the UK. SJB has also had roots in Australia for over thirty years, and has formed a new partnership with one of Australia’s most highly respected oenologists, Brian Croser, along with the Cazes family in the Tapanappa project in the Wrattonbully region (South Australia).

So since 1986, SJB has built up a ├ö├ç┬úfamily of rare wines├ö├ç├ÿ with the Bollinger brand as standard bearer. All these brands and Houses have proudly worn the colours of these appellations for many generations: Bollinger since 1829, Ayala since 1850, Chanson Père & Fils since 1750, Langlois-Chateau since 1885 and Delamain since 1759. The group aims to promote these brands and Houses among connoisseurs of fine quality wines by means of a well-structured sales network in the major world markets.
